Amen to that..I bought a CZ-5000 for about $100 from my girlfriends dad (he owns a junk shop), you can't beat that. Plus, believe it or not, customer support from Casio is still pretty good (free manuals, replacement parts, etc). -----Original Message----- From: Jeremy Pinkham [SMTP:forms@...] Sent: Monday, June 04, 2001 2:21 PM To: CZsynth@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [CZsynth] VZ-8M Jon Furman wrote: "This sort of confirms my suspicions about the CZs, I bet the higher up models were much more expensive than the lower ones." But the cool part is that today that price range is narrow to almost non-existent. On eBay, I've seen the CZ-101 go for $100 or more, yet I recently won an auction for a CZ-1 with three ROM carts, a RAM cart, and a third-party book on CZ programming for $200. Of course, it hasn't arrived in the mail yet (should be here by Wed.), so I guess I shouldn't jinx the deal by talking before it gets here... It may turn out to be three bricks in a box!
