The APO or Auto Power off switch is an irritating and slightly useful feature to save power , if the synth has no action for a short time it switches itself off regardless of whether you use batteries or an adapter. The little switch on the back reloads the factory presets in to the internal bank, you have to turn the machine off before pressing this and then switch it back on again to hear some lovely new sounds!
