Hi; I'm the one who wrote that part of Jon's message; he was quoting me.

It's been a long time since I've done a .syx dump from a CZ (I usually use
CZ Android on the Atari for patch editing, but that won't help in this case,
as I'll need the file on my PC).  To make it easier for me to share these
patches with you, could you send me step-by-step instructions on how to do a
.syx dump from a CZ-1 cartridge to a PC sequencer (or freeware utility, if
there's one for this task), and then how to save that data from such a
program to the kind of file format you're requesting?  (I'm fine on the .zip
part of the task...  No guidance needed there.)  Without instructions, I'm a
bit rusty on this stuff, and it will take me that much longer to get around
to this, as I don't have a lot of time to research the subject at the
moment.
