If I put >change my keyboard's midi channel, I can hear that someone has put a >sound on a channel or two, but I can't do anything with it. The output channel is fixed- channels 1-4 go to OUT1 and 5-8 go to OUT2. Each set of 4 channels has 8 voices (corresponding to the two sound generator chips) that are allocated using the POLY parameter. Scroll through the other channels (using the page up/down buttons) and turn the POLY parameter down to 0 for channels 1-4, then you can set POLY to 8 on channel 1- it's locked at 0 on channel 1 because you can't have more than 8 voices assigned for each output/set of 4 channels. _________________________________________________________________ Get ready for school!
