Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi,
Unisyn on a Mac Os9 is working fine with the tx81z, k1, and now the
vz8m. I haven't used all of the editing functions, but everything so
far is a-ok, once I enabled Sysex on the vz8.  All three of these
synths sound somewhat different.  I'd be curious someday to hear a
casio CZ, but I think that would be overkill in the cheap digital
synth domain.  I used to have an sy77, which also had a "cheap" fm
sound, and a very nasty bandpass filter that howled in a musical way.
 I had and sold an fs1r, which had a good sound but I found that the
sounds I liked the most on the fs1r were relatively primitive
tz81z-like sounds, while the more elaborate and polished sounds didn't
do it for me. . . a bit too smooth or something. so far the vz is
keeping my interest, alhtough my efforts so far have been random
creations of wierd ring modulating stuff.
