hi royce
in addition to what others have said, i seem to remember, from a demo
version of some other editor software, that the vz-8m came in a couple
of versions, the earlier ones of which had a less cooperative chip that
would not work so well with midi-based editors. it was an irritation
to me, since mine is definitely of that generation.
bah!

ps: jsynthlib works quite well with the tx81z if you have one of those,
which i do. could you let us know how well unisyn works with the
tx81z, since i'm thinking of getting it?
