hi royce in addition to what others have said, i seem to remember, from a demo version of some other editor software, that the vz-8m came in a couple of versions, the earlier ones of which had a less cooperative chip that would not work so well with midi-based editors. it was an irritation to me, since mine is definitely of that generation. bah! dominic ps: jsynthlib works quite well with the tx81z if you have one of those, which i do. could you let us know how well unisyn works with the tx81z, since i'm thinking of getting it?
