hi everyone forgive me, but i'm pretty ignorant about my second-hand vz-10m. i downloaded Cliff's sounds and tried to send them with a mac os X app called Sysex Librarian. it usually works fine on my other racks [mu100r, tx81z], but even after locating 'internal mem protect off', although sysex lib thinks it's sent the patches, they don't actually load on my vz. does anyone have any hints? i will try sending them from a sequencer, but i doubt there'll be any difference to the result.. thanks dominic p.s. anyone out there using motu software? does anyone have a midnam file so i can enter and view patch names on my vz instead of 'patch 1... 128'? casio only has a middev file in the devices folder, which seems to be generic for all possible casio synths...
