yep, never saw an update for casios on the net, too. I was just wondering how to see a posiible os version, though.... it´s somewhat a shame that casio went out of the synth buisness -i think the vz was their nicest synth. also it was one of their last developments i think I can confirm now, some of the bugs on my vz seems to come from faulty patches, which i programmed with atari crap... i just opened these, and they contain odd stuff... Seems he doesn´t like (controller)data that much anyway best... ..phono >editor too ). Maybe i should do reset on it too... As you mentioned it > >- how can i see which OS version is on my unit? > > As far as I know, Casio didn't offer OS updates. The ROM chips inside > aren't even socketed (I'm pretty sure at least) which would make it very > inconvenient to upgrade. This isn't to say that there weren't new OS > revisions and bugfixes during the life of the VZ, but at least there were no > official updates, and any changes that were made weren't publicized.
