Most of the 80s synths are pretty noisy compared to todays hardware. When it 
comes to the CZ-1 turning off the internal chorus should help a lot to reduce it 
but will not completely shut it off.

If the output is very weak and changing in Volume you might have a problem with 
the Relais, that normaly prevents clicking after turning on the CZ...
