I looked at the 1st few pages of the first pdf. The material is from The Midi System Exclusive Book by Steve De Furia and Joe Scacciaferro, (C) 1987 by Third Earth Publishing Distributed by Hal Leonard. I am not sure if the book is still available. The published edition has two "pages" printed side-by-side (landscape orientation). What you posted as p 34a is the left side of published page 34; p34b is the right side of the same page. The type face (so far as I can see) is identical, so it may be that someone scanned the pages and typeset them in a pdf. It originally sold for $29.95. Based on Casio's CZ-1 specs (and other Casio publications), I believe DeFuria and Scacciaferro simply reproduced the docs as they got them from Casio. Hope this helps. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "esynthesist" <esynthesist@y...> wrote: > Hi all, > > When I bought my CZ-1, the previous owner gave me a photocopy of an > extract of a book containing all MIDI specifications of the CZ- series. > It's not the same as the Casio MIDI 1985 book, I think it's more > detailed. > The document I have is for CZ-1 only, the other pages were not included. > Anyway, as I haven't found this document on the internet yet, I decided > to put it on yahoo. > You can find it in the files section of the CZ-VZ-Files group, here: > http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/CZ-VZ-Files/files/CZ%20-% 20DOCs/ > > (There are 3 parts because of the yahoo file upload limit... > and I couldn't put in the CZSynth group because the files section is > already fully occupied) > > Perhaps the midi-document is useful to some of you. > > Regards, > > ///E-Synthesist
