Hmm, I have to disagree with that statement Summa. There have been many articles about this in the past. Phase distortion is perhaps a different approach but the mechanics are very similar. I think Casio didn't want to infringe on Yamaha's copyrights at that time. Below there's a link to an article about the CZ230s.
