I bought my VZ used about 1999 and the display showed similar problems, but it wasn't packed well for shipping anyway. Since it's been a while since I opened the VZ I'm not sure anymore what exaclty I did but I think it improved a bit after opening the display and cleaning the contacts between electronics and when combining display and electronics, I pressed the the two parts together as hard as possible. It should look like this... http://www.midi-rakete.de/eng/ceinbau.htm Mine is still shifting a few lines every now and then, but I hardly see the display since CZ and VZ are place above each other on a Keyboard holder, and besides turning off the memory protection I mostly use the computer to control the VZ-1... > Is is a internal problem or just a bug with the system? I don't think it's a serious problem, in my case the Keyboard suffered from transportation as well, so I had to open the synth anyway, fortunately it wasn't too hard to fix... ...Summa -- CZ/VZ mailing list : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CZsynth FMHeaven mailing list : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fmheaven/ FS1R mailing list : http://www.ampfea.org/mailman/listinfo/fss-list Vokator mailing list : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vokator Wellenform Chat So and Do 22.00 CET: http://chat.moogulator.com/
