It saves correctly to the internal banks. I couldn't get my Radio Shack battery tester to test this battery, so I bought a new battery. The same problem:you save to cartridge, it plays ok until you switch presets and then go back to your saved preset on the cartridge. The ram cartridge now sounds like space aliens and bells. It's a Casio RA-3 ram cartridge.
