Hi, it's mentioned on page 64 of the CZ-1 manual you can download from Casio New Zealand. I had to do it once or twice when my CZ-1 had hickups due to a problem with the backlight. Here's the procedure... (1) While the power of the unit is off, press and hold down the INITIALIZE key and switch power on. You should see a SYSTEM ALL Initialize (Y/N) on the display (2) Press the YES Key in the Data Entry Section while holding down the INITIALIZE key. This procdedure initializes the entire internal memory of the CZ-1 to values of [...] You should see a SYSTEM INITIALIZED !! message on the display...
