Re: Midiquest 9.1 and the VZ10m

2006-06-22 by narfman96

Hi Chris,

I have Midiquest 9.1 but I don't have a VZ (yet). My CZ1 did not work
with MQ 9.1 and they sent me a new updated profile that allowed me to
capture all 64 patches. All I did was e-mail support and they worked
with me. They mentioned Casio's sysex doc's were quite sketchy for all
these synths. The great news is I've since been working with them to
rewrite the CZ-1 profile. I've sent all the sysex for the Patch Names,
Velocity for DCO,DCW,DCA, and the biggie all the sysex for the
Operation Memories. This was quite a task that involved a bunch of time
but it will be worth it to be able to use MQ with every aspect of this
synth...
To make things short try to contact them through support if they won't
help contact me offlist and I'll try to see what can be done.

Casio PD's forever, Narfman
