Hi all- I've had my CZ-101 for maybe a year now, and of course now I don't know what I'd do without it. Until recently I've loaded patches from my Mac (OS 9) with a simple utility called Sysex 480. Now I'm trying to switch over to Soundiver 3.0 as I'd like to get into onscreen editing, compilation of new banks, etc. Soundiver works (although temperamentally) with my other synths just fine, for the most part. With the CZ, it requests data just fine. With some coaxing, I was also able to switch tones around within the internal memory bank. I was not able to open (via the import command) sysex banks in the CZ-101 device window. I was forced to open them in "general sysex," but I was unable to then transmit from general sysex to my CZ synth. So my questions: Can anyone help me through my Soundiver troubles? Or am I better off trying an older, dedicated CZ editor/librarian? Maybe I should run Atari emulation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And thanks for a group I have quietly appreciated since shortly after purchasing my CZ. Best, Ron
