But of course, in good environment and regular use
it's pretty normal: I have D-550 which had its
batterty replaced for the first time 6 months ago
(expiry date was set on 1992!). Note that battery is
used only when no external power is on.

Anyway, although I'm not as satisfied with VZ-10M of
mine (like I said in my review everything is like
"packed in programmed halfway thru"), yet I'll never
part with mine, unless Casio will resume iPD synths
and does another, bugfixed VZ (man issue: wacky
envelopes, nightmarish control, and could do with
better PD). :)
