After hunting down SoundDiver updates and bringing myself current to 3.0.5.2, I am now able to transmit from general sysex to the CZ- 101. And with the workaround (open banks in "general sysex" device, transmit to CZ, then request data from CZ with CZ device) I will be able to slowly put together what I need.
