It's too good for words of what a VZ-1 can do. Recently I just ordered a new Roland V-Synth-xt not to kill nor to replace my VZ's, but to expand them the same way as my musical laptop computer did. I will use them both as drum machines although I will do way more than that for advanced musical sound possibilities. Still the VZ stands out for me as long as I live.
