Rob, I've been sitting here with my Casio AZ-1 controller playing some sort of NI B4 thing on my laptop (what's all this ASIO crap, anyway?) I'm wondering what programs you've tried to drive the CZ from PC? Midi-Ox can record everything I play on my CZ1 or the AZ-1 controller. Then the script file can be replayed with all the CC and program changes. M-O can even remap the controllers and save the setup. The midi ports in one of my PC's include Midi-Yoke 1-8, SB MP-401 Midi, Roland Serial Midi, and MidiSport 1X1 USB to Midi. This is only a PIII Win98SE machine. The laptop has XP-SP2 with Roland Serial, and the 1x1 USB Midi. There are several other programs that can do the same deal as M-O so unless I misunderstood your question I hope this helps.
