Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I recently finished cleaning up a CZ-230S by disassembling it and
cleaning up all the switches. It had been behaving erratically and
only generating sounds with specific switch configurations.

I powered it back up and it was behaving the same. I then did a reset
(power on while holding the C key) and now I can select voices and
play it, but I get no sound from the rhythm section.

If I listen closely to the speaker with the volume turned all the way
up, I can faintly hear rhythm sounds.

Is this a known problem? Suggestions?
