Hi Cornelius Re > I have never loaded files via midi as sysex files. > Is it easy to do ? I downloaded two programs FZU_FTU and FzTransfer, from here I think. Both seem to work. I found FZU-FTU very straight foward. It has Several pages with a fairly clear interface that has nnice hints at the critical points. FzTransfer looks quite nice too, it also has what I think are wave file import options, that would be brilliant, but I havent worked them out. Im not sure how long it takes to load a full bank from a floppy, but it must be faster than the 10-12 minutes it takes to send one by midi. Plenty of time to make a cuppa or keep noodling with the VZ or CZ of course. The 142 pc "Shareware" collection is very cool. Ive been quite surprised how nice these ancient sample libraries from the dawn of sampling sound. People must have put in serious time crafting them. In its day the FZ must have been a very cool peice of kit. Those synth modes Preset,Additive,Cut Sampled,Hand drawn. Where do you find a synth or VSTi with that baggage? Kurzweil K2000?, Chameleon? Z3Ta? Virsyn? Anyway as soon as I get it serviced Im going to give it a long deep look. Maybe its time add shareware disk #143 to the archive "20 and still kickin"". We'll see. Jeremy
