I took the (Samsung) floppy drive from an unused 2 year old PC. It is a standard modern drive and I think that any would work. The instructions on how to make the cable are on the www.buchty.net/casio site. They're very detailed and you can rely on them completely but I agree that they can be a bit confusing. For practical purposes a actual picture of the cable would be better, I'll take one as soon as I get my FZ-1 from the top of the closet where it sits now.
