Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I think the sound in Heart Of Glass is not really an arpeggio sound,
it's more like a gated bass sound. You can approximate this on your CZ
without the need for more equipment. It won't be a perfect solution,
but it will sound similar.

Use the Vibrato function like this:

1. Turn off the modulation wheel by hitting the modulation key. This
is necessary for vibrato to function.

2. Create a sustained bass sound that has the tone and properties you
like.

3. Now hit the Vibrato button to change the vibrato settings for the
sound. Change the Vibrato Wave to "4", which is the square wave, which
will give a gated sound. Set Vibrato Delay to "00", no delay. Play
around with Vibrato Rate until you get it to match the tempo of your
song in the way that you imagined it. Change Vibrato Depth to "99",
which is the maximum.

This will give you a gated sound like in Heart Of Glass. It's not
exactly the right thing, but it's worth playing around with.
