Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I have an MG-500 (the oddly-shaped MIDI guitar without the built-in
synth) which died early enough that I could still get the electronics
replaced.  I have since learned that the original capacitors are the
usual culprits in the death of Casio MIDI guitars.  It shouldn't be
hard to find a technician to replace the caps with functional
equivalents, without a schematic.
Recently, I got a Godin xtSA MIDI guitar.  It tracks immensely better
than the Casio, so, I guess technology has improved in the past couple
of decades!  My favorite synth to use with it is the Casio VZ-8M, so,
I guess that not everything has improved in the past couple of decades
(see the "music economics" thread ;)
The MG-500 is still an excellent guitar!  I love the subtlety of the
whammy bar.

And, with regard to the list of Casios that started this thread -
WOW!! - I don't even know what half of that stuff is!
