Interesting (about capacitors being problematic in the Casio MIDI guitars)!! I have seen alot about the capacitors being the culprit in causing the infamous Digital Horn (DH) squeal. (I used the DH-100 with the VZ-8M.) BTW, I am thinking of selling some of my VZ-8Ms. Has anyone seem prices for them lately? I have't seen any on e-bay in quite a while. --Steve PS: Some people sell fixes for the DHs on e-bay. Also, I have seen fixes posted on the internet. (Try searching Casio DH fix or repair.) If the guitar problem is indeed a problem with the capacitors, perhaps the people who fix the horns can help. If the caps can be identified, it might be good if we can get pix of them in the files section. Apologies if this is OT, but a number of Casio CZ/VZ owners also have Casio non-keyboard controllers. ;-) --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "synergeezer" <synergeezer@...> wrote: > > I have an MG-500 (the oddly-shaped MIDI guitar without the built-in > synth) which died early enough that I could still get the electronics > replaced.
