Replace the capacitor in your DH-100 (or DH-200). It's pretty easy! If you don't use a soldering iron, you probably know someone who's good enough with one to make this fix. My DH-100 and DH-200 both had the squeal. Here's how: http://www.btinternet.com/~dorian.rose/ I started playing the CZ-101 in 1984 or 1985 (multi-timbrality [sp?] was a requirement for me, in those days. So you've got me by at least 3 years! My first synth was the SCI Six-Trak (6-part multi-timbral). - synergeezer --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "Simon Beck" <simon@...> wrote: > > Current Casios: > WK-3000 (bought second-hand 2006, Ebay; £150) > DH-100 Digital Horn (bought new 1989; £100; needs fixing) > SA-75 (belongs to my elder son; bought new 2005; £30) > > Previous Casios: > CZ-1 (bought second-hand 2000; £70; got stolen 2006) > CPS-101 electronic piano with MIDI (bought second-hand 1988; £100; Freecycled 2006) > CZ-101 (bought new 1986; £150; stopped working 1999) > CT-202 (bought new 1981 from Casio UK; £200; donated to Horniman Museum 1992) > > Has anyone else been using Casio keyboards continuously since 1981? > > Simon Beck > London, UK > > -- > I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. > It has removed 6344 spam emails to date. > Paying users do not have this message in their emails. > Get the free SPAMfighter here: http://www.spamfighter.com/len > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
