Is there an industry standard pinout for LCDs? I'm building a Midibox Sid ( http://www.ucapps.de) and had to be careful to match the LCD pins correctly. I know of quite a few others that have blown out thier LCDs because the pinout on thier LCD did not match the pinout of the person's who created the schematics. Just a word to the wise, that's an expensive mistake.
