Re: Who Still Uses A CZ?

2009-05-07 by charles5900@sbcglobal.net

I use both the VZ10M and the CZ101, as well as a motley crew of synthesis types, including some analog (Matrix6r) and analog modelling(MicroKorg) synths. I know the current craze is to go to software synths, but there's just something lacking there for me. Heck, I still have my Ensoniq Mirage rackmount I use on occasion. And as I regularly cruise Ebay, I see the Casio 80's synths are still being snapped up when offered and not for nickels and dimes, considering their 'vintage.'

Regarding CZ VST patches/plug-ins, I would imagine a thorough Internet search would be in order. It seems vintage analog synths are king of the heap for a lot of those. ---Charles J
