I have a (more than one) CZ editor which I believe I still have the install for - I did not find it that impressive but I can upload it to the files in case anyone wishes to give it a go - not sure if it is different from the one below.

I'd have to search to find the source code. I remember having it on diskettes (remember those - and 5 1/4 one to make it even harder) lonng ago. The program does actually run in a Command Prompt window and will load patches from the database I distributed with the program (a bunch of patches from a lot of different sources). The problem is it was coded to use only an MPU-401 MIDI interface under DOS (in UART mode if anyone remembers what that means).
I did give the source code to a guy (so I must have found it ... and lost it again...lol) who later released this CZ editor:
