Hi,
i installed MIDI monitor + MIDI Yoke and checked with MOTU Unisyn MIDI
editor which have VZ-8M profile, which kind of results i get from SYSEX
output.
I changed single parameter which is marked in the picture:

And result seems to be equivalent to what was said in veezee guestbook,
editor sends lots of data with every parameter change, not just that one
parameter.
"I know I saw one of the VZ sysex manuals on line somewhere. It was
snapshots of individual pages, not a pdf. Try the following places:
rhe files section here, the files section in the CZ-VZ overflow
group, Steve and Sally's VZ site."
Yeah, they were here:

"The Waveidea Bitstream 3X sounds like a very handy controller. If
the manual is online, could you put up the link? I'd love to take a
look at it."
I think BS3X is the rolls royce of MIDI controllers! It makes possible
to assing it's own LFO to what ever parameter, like OP frequency at FM
synths etc.. motion sampler and arpeggiator are nice too. =)

Neither the VZ1 nor the VZ8 accept single parameter changes via Sysex.
They do accept single patch changes, but you have to send the whole
tone/op and if you do that the synth will stop sounding, so you cannot
change patches dynamically.
The sysex implementation is documented and it was supplied with the
machines when new, but if you don't have it I'm afraid I don't know of
anyone who has scanned it in yet, for either the VZ1 or the VZ8. If you
do find it, be aware that I know of several errors in the VZ1 chart
(some subtle ones and a major fundamental one), which have been
discussed on this chat page in the distant past if you look in the
archive, so it's possible the VZ8 chart may be wrong too.
If anyone HAS scanned in their sysex implementation manual I'd be happy
to host it on this site.
