Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Do you mean turning it off with a hardware mod or just turning it down on the front panel?
If yes is there an improvement to disabling it with a hardware mod compared to using the front panel?
I also have a problem with noisy output with my CZ-3000 and CZ-1 and would love to be able to improve it.
