they are efiols special laminated paper that can produce light when an ac voltage is aplied to the anode and cathode of the efoil

being a synth repair tech i have fixed many a back light i use this company they do various colours

it means tacking the synth apart some desolder work and resolder work but the effort is well worth it for the next 10-15 years

That's a good question as I have an RZ1 that seems to have the idea that it can switch the backlight on when it feels like it and an FZ1 that I'm told had a backlight - I'd love to know if anyone know anything about this subject.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got my CZ-1 that it had an LCD backlight (years spent in the dark peering over my CZ-3000). However, a few months ago the backlight died and I am back in the dark ages. I think this is quite a common query but can't find it in my email history; How do I go about replacing the backlight?

  Thanks
