Oh, by the way, Maxim, I didn't mention the other restriction we have 
imposed upon ourselves: since we do 80's pop, we decided to only 
use "period gear", i.e. synths and drum machines made before 1990 
(both analogue and digital, but no ROMplers - but they weren't that 
numerous in those days anyway). I don't know if this one makes any 
more sense to you than the "synthesis-only" concept, but we like to 
be limited by the gear the way 80's electronic artists were.
