Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I wrote an extensive reply to this, but evidently Yahoo Groups posting system must have crapped out. Maybe I will try to repost it one of these days. In short: (1) check the protect switch, (2) do a systematic test. 

It does not seem that you did either of these things since you do not mention doing so.
