The MC202s don't have an internal battery (that would be nice ;)); like the CZ101 they rely on the C cells. Those were the ones that leaked.

Both machines also have a push on/off switch that is easily cat paw accessible :/

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
