The battery used in the RA3 is a Lithium type of 'button' battery - BR2016 or CR2016. They are available on places like Ebay for very little: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220888069773 Unfortunately I can't make my RA3 to work with my 101, though it works fine with my CZ3000 (haven't tried it on my CZ1 yet). I thought the battery may have been flat, but even after changing it (hence the information above), it still won't work with the 101. If I insert the cartridge into the 101 and switch it on, it locks up and emits a continuous drone. It does the same when tried with a friend's 1000. A shame as I could really do with those extra (and saved after switch off) patches on the cartridge :-( On 23 March 2012 17:03, Jason Adkins <jason_ralf808@...> wrote: > ** > > > In my experience, none of those machines of that era have rechargable > batteries, > although could be wrong. > Change the battery prob best. > > J > > > On 23 Mar 2012, at 16:35, sweeneymini wrote: > > > Hi all, > > > > I'm really starting to love my little CZ-101 now <3 > > > > My ra3 cartridge losses it's memory quickly - does the battery > > charge up when it's in the keyboard or do I need a new battery? > > > > Thanks, > > > > Ben :) > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > Yahoo!
