As someone who runs about two dozen mailing lists, I feel it's worth 
pointing out that on about half of them we've had to ban MS Windows 
clients - primarily Outlook - altogether, and in some cases restrict 
certain users to webmail-only.

I'm sure no-one here is quite so hopelessly inept as the people on those 
lists.
