Well, I've repaired a few dozen CZs, and I've got a GUI patch editor 
that might actually run on PCs built this century in the pipeline.  It's 
written in Python so there's a very real chance that someone with the 
time and enthusiasm can get it working in Windows, even (I don't run 
Windows here and I don't know anyone that does, so I can't test it).

Because the vast majority of the users know not to click on dodgy links, 
know not to run Outlook Express in Windows ME, know not to forward every 
damn "ZOMG CLICK ON THIS IT'S AMAZING! INTERNET JESUS WEEPS REAL TEARS!" 
email to world+dog and most of the time they contain useful, helpful 
discussions.
