The poor man's solution is to use a paper punch, punch out a bunch of tin foil disks, and glue them to the black "pucks". On my MMT8s and HR16s, and on my mate's Sequential Sixtrak, I carefully buffed the contact fingers back to clean metal and soldered small surface-mount tact switches on.
