Yes! Coz it doesn't have internal battery to save anything after turning the power off. Unless there's D batteries in the compartment or continuosly connected to a power supply. That's how I understand it. With my CZ101, I hot wired a 9v plug in the battery compartment since I always use an external power supply, anyway. the 9v battery usually last several months in keeping data intact. But have to check each time for battery life. jing garcia online news editor (infotech) InterAksyon.com online news portal of TV5 sent from my blackberry bb id: 26FE33D5 -----Original Message----- From: Peter Sedin <peterhksedin@...> Sender: CZsynth@yahoogroups.com Date: Sat, 7 Jul 2012 16:52:49 To: <CZsynth@yahoogroups.com> Reply-To: CZsynth@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [CZsynth] MIDI Channel sounds like battery failure.. 2012/7/6 Francis Cote <francis.cote@...> > ** > > > Hi, > > Is it normal my CZ-1000 "forgets" it's midi channel number everything I > turn it off? > > Thanks > Francis > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > -- Mvh Peter H.K Sedin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
