Oops - checked the resistance but it was ok. Then I noticed that the cables were no longer attached to the power switch... They had gone off... So I think that was the reaoson (Level 1 Problem :-) )

Thanks for your support anyway

Terry

I checked the input voltage at the transformer, it is as expected 230V. There is no voltage level on the secondary part of the transformer (while the board is still attached - ie. I did not yet try the transformer without the attached board). So all the 15V and 5V supply for analog and digital circuits are now unavailable (almost 0 V). The fuses are all OK, so I suppose it is in fact the transformer that died... or does the transformer switch off automatically in case of a short circuit or high temperature? :-(
