Again, I want to encourage people who own and use CZs to read the Casio Midi Guidebook (Nov. 1985). (See Files > CZ - Docs, "Casio CZ Sysex".) Page 7 of the pdf, corresponding with hard copy page 6, lays it out in a very accessible manner: The last 4 bits of the "note on" status command shows the midi channel going from 0000 to 1111, corresponding with channels 1 through 16 [aka 0x00 through 0x0F in hex]. Yes, I realize that binary, decimal, and hexidecimal >>can be<< confusing, but I think its only because people don't take the 10-15 minutes it would take to learn binary and hex. It really does not need to be confusing. That is another reason I encourage CZ owners to read the Midi Guidebook. It should not take longer than 30 minutes.
