Theory has to yield to testing.  But I did see this with other equipment 
& software on MIDI; just don't throw the idea completely away, although 
I admit it sounds like you are probably right here.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
