when casio was the first 16bit sampler and to
provide 1.44mb drives every one else was still using 720k drives
until the akai did the s1000
the interface that casio used was the shugart but
the old standard 5.25" drives spec so there drive was a special as it used the
360 speed drive
pc was always 300 as is most other
drives
a lot of the older drives can be made to go to the
360 speed
but kroyflex make a raw image of the disk which has
been interpreted by the hfc floppy emulator and works great
