I'm going to sell my CZ-3000 and "upgrade" to a CZ-1. I'm absolutely thrilled with its sound and also its rugged construction. I know the CZ-1 is built well enough to be used as a gig master keyboard but I'd like to know about the velocity and aftertouch: 1. How is aftertouch - do you have to press it down like a madman or is it responsive (I have experience with Korg DSS-1, and it's too hard for me). Casio doesn't strike me as a "softie" - hopefully I am wrong. 2. How's velocity? A sensible curve, or that all-too-familiar "full or none"? 3. Is the keyboard mechanism as good as on the CZ-3000? You might be surprised, but I love the feel of the keyboard. 4. Are velocity and aftertouch prone to failure? Any other common problems? Thanks in advance, and long live the CZ-series! Saso.
