A standard 5-pin MIDI din works just fine. I use standard 5-pin male din to 4xRCA Phono male cable with mic adapters, connected to a little digital voice recorder that records as WAV files. Red is #5, so connects to the recorder's earphone jack. Yellow is #4, and connect to mic in jack. No remote control, just manual, and the MT interface detects the signal automatically (you can hear it click as the audio stream starts).
