I have sent this answer to Vintage Synth group, still probably it didn't come, so once more here: ------------------- Your description is not quite exact... I think it's you who should have an idea what happened :-) There's always some reason for such behavior. One of them, for example, can be that if it was not in use for longer time period, maybe contacts are dirty or oxidized. I would reseat and clean all connectors as a first simple step. Focus on keyboard cables and connectors, I suppose there are some. Sometimes after the long sleep it's good to leave the machine on for longer time - three days and nights, but keep eye on it and switch off again when you can't stay near it.
