I don't know what you mean by "static"... For sure cleaning can't make it worse :-) Use special cleaning liquid with lubrication for cleaning the pots and sliders which you can find in your country. Concerning switching off: are you sure it is random? Or does it occur 7 minutes after the last touching the instrument? If yes, check the setting of APO switch. If you don't want automatic switching off, switch this function off. (And read the Owner's Manual more carefully to learn, know and use basic functions of your instrument.) If not, there can be lot of reasons for such behavior - PSU problem, capacitors, oxidized connectors or IC sockets, cracks on PCB and more... Daniel Forro On Aug 2, 2016, at 11:03 PM, cooneypiano@...
